Ramblings over a Red

Several years ago, I had some time on my hands and I started a blog which I titled Ramblings over a Red. It combined a wine review with me getting on my soap box about whatever topic I was particularly focused on at the time. I lasted a little while then life overtook things so I stopped.

Then, I had the grand plan of turning the blog into a podcast and despite having three raw interviews "in the can', that is as far as it got.

So which brings us to now; Easter 2020 and we are in the midst of a global pandemic. Didn't see that one coming! 

​

I have decided to go back to the beginning (at least for now) and restart the blog again and see what happens. Not just to me but for the rest of the world. Why? Well, first and foremost I think I need a vehicle and continue to cultivate my own little patch of the interweb. If, as a result others find it entertaining, distracting or just another reasonable way to spend some of their waking hours, that is ok too.

I still hold firm my belief that everyone has a story that is worth sharing. I may also work out ways of sharing these in the future; if I get inspired and organised enough to make it happen. For now, if I can summon enough discipline to make the blog a regular part of my week, I will be happy with that.

Anyway, that is what 'Ramblings over a Red' is about. What it is, what is was and what it could be.

One more thing (which I have to note), this blog always reflects my personal opinion and does not reflects those of any of my old or current employers.
